Ranchi, November 4: During a large rally in Chaibasa, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed at the Congress, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), describing them as "anti-Adivasi" forces.

In a fiery speech, PM Modi criticized these parties for their historical and current treatment of Adivasi communities and accused them of disrespecting Droupadi Murmu, India’s first female Adivasi President.

Highlighting the significance of Jharkhand’s Kolhan region, which played a key role in resistance against British rule, PM Modi stated, "History stands as proof of how the British were uprooted from Kolhan. Today, Kolhan is determined to uproot the corrupt JMM government.” Confidently predicting a BJP victory in the upcoming state elections, he said, "From the enthusiasm I see, I can confidently say that BJP will form the government with record-breaking seats."

He introduced the slogan, "Roti, Beti aur Maati ki pukaar, Jharkhand me BJP-NDA sarkar," pledging that an NDA government would prioritize the needs symbolized by "Roti, Beti, Maati" (livelihood, daughters, and land) to address local demands and preserve cultural values.

PM Modi also invoked the BJP's legacy, mentioning Atal Bihari Vajpayee's role in creating Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, highlighting the BJP’s longstanding commitment to Adivasi rights. In contrast, he criticized the Congress and RJD for their role in the Gua Goli Kand incident, where Adivasi activists faced police violence under the then Congress government in Bihar.

PM Modi accused the JMM of aligning with the RJD despite its historic opposition to Jharkhand’s formation. He claimed that RJD leaders once vowed Jharkhand would only be created “over their dead bodies.” Concluding his address, he urged voters to support the BJP, which he called the only party truly committed to Adivasi empowerment and Jharkhand’s development.
