New Delhi, April 8: InoxGFL Group announced on Tuesday that the Odisha government has allocated land for Inox Solar to set up a new solar cell and module manufacturing plant in the state.
The proposed plant, with a capacity of 4.8 gigawatts (GW) for both solar cells and solar modules, is set to play a significant role in advancing India’s renewable energy objectives and fostering industrial growth in Odisha.
Inox Solar, a subsidiary of Inox Clean, confirmed that the Odisha government has allocated around 70 acres of land in Dhenkanal for the establishment of the ₹4,000 crore manufacturing facility. This development is a key step in strengthening the state's position within India's green energy sector.
The new plant will feature cutting-edge infrastructure, enabling Inox Solar to meet the growing demand for solar components both domestically and internationally.
