Bhubaneswar, April 15: With a bid to strengthen the organizational structure across the state, the Biju Janata Dal(BJD) Odisha named 18 district Presidents on Tuesday.
With the approval of BJD Supreme Naveen Patnaik, State Returning Officer Pratap Keshari Deb announced the names of the District Presidents of as many as 18 organisational districts.
According to a press release issued by the BJD state headquarters today, Talcher MLA Braja Kishore Pradhan has been nominated as BJD district President for the Angul District while Sushanta Kumar Mohapatra is of Bargarh and Jagannath Swain is of the Bhadrak district.
Similarly, Pratap Kumar Amat has been assigned the Boudh district,Romanch Ranjan Biswal for Deogarh and Pradip Nayak as the President, Gajapati district.
Apart from it, Sudam Marandi has been assigned as the BJD district President for Mayurbhanj 1 and Padmanabha Behera is of the Kandhamal district.
