Bhubaneswar, Apr 14: The Odisha government has decided to start the admission process early for postgraduate and two-year B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.Hd courses for the academic year 2025-26. Admission for undergraduate courses will also begin soon.

This step was taken by the Higher Education Department to support students and ensure that classes, exams, and results happen on time.
Students can start filling out the Common Application Form (CAF) for all courses from April 16, 2025.
For undergraduate courses, the admission process will follow the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Under this policy, students can choose their course combinations while applying through the SAMS platform. Options include:
- One major subject with two minor subjects
- Two major subjects
- Three minor subjects
Undergraduate classes for the 2025-26 session are expected to begin by July 10, 2025.
This move will help students by keeping the academic schedule on track.
