Bhubaneswar, Nov 16: Odisha government on Saturday shunted at least 8 Excise officials for gross misconduct and violation of Government Servant’s Conduct Rule.
The Directorate of Odisha Excise has issued orders in this connection.
The sacked Excise officials include 3 ASIs and five Constables, said the office order served by Excise Commissioner Narasingha Bhol.
They are identified as, Excise Constables, Deepak Panigrahi, Trilochan Raicheti, R. Venkatesh Kumar, TrinathSabar and Rajeeb Kumar Bhanja whereas the Excise ASIs are Auropalak Das, Niranjan Khatua and Sudipta Kumar Das.
According to the Excise Department’s Order, they been sacked for gross misconduct, misuse of official position & power for personal benefits and involvement in criminal activities amounting to violation of Rule-3 of Odisha Government Servant's Conduct Rules, 1959.
