Bhubaneswar, Apr 27: Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital in Bhubaneswar inaugurated its 15th Graduation Ceremony, "Charak-2025", marking a significant milestone on its journey of transforming the healthcare and education sectors in Odisha.
The ceremony, which was held at the Hi-Tech Medical College campus, witnessed the graduation of 100 medical students who are set to make their mark as healthcare professionals in the state and beyond.
The chief guest for the occasion, Justice Anand Chandra Behera of the Orissa High Court, hailed Hi-Tech Medical College for its remarkable contribution to the medical education sector in Odisha.
"Hi-Tech Medical College has created a unique history by producing 1,500 medical doctors for the state, and I believe that in the years to come, Odisha will witness a golden chapter in India’s medical history," Justice Behera said during his address.
The event also served as a moment to reflect on the pioneering role Hi-Tech Medical College has played in shaping the future of medical education in Odisha.
The institution, which has established campuses in Bhubaneswar, Rourkela, and Tirupati Balaji, continues to churn out highly skilled doctors who are poised to uplift the healthcare system in the state.
Dr. Tirupati Panigrahi, the founder chairman of Hi-Tech Medical College, took the stage to deliver an inspiring message to the graduates. "The graduation of medical students is not just another milestone; it marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning and service to humanity," Dr. Panigrahi said. "Your student life never truly ends. The pursuit of knowledge in medicine is endless."
Managing Trustee Suresh Kumar Panigrahi, Principal Professor Dr. Purna Chandra Dash, Vice Chancellor of Health Sciences, Odisha University, Professor Dr. Manas Ranjan Sahu, and Chief Executive Officer of AIIMS, Ashutosh Vishwas were also present at the ceremony. They distributed certificates to the graduating students and urged them to serve Odisha with dedication and integrity.
"This day signifies not just the culmination of your years of hard work, but the beginning of a responsibility to make a difference in the health and well-being of our society," said Professor Dr. Manas Ranjan Sahu, Vice Chancellor of Health Sciences, Odisha University.
The graduation ceremony was skillfully conducted by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Lisa Dangi, with support from Administrative Officer Dr. Gopeshwar Acharya.
Adding to the vibrancy of the ceremony, students from Hi-Tech Group’s Nursing College and Science College presented a series of cultural performances.
