Odisha enters the semifinals of Nageswar Trophy for blind

Bhubaneswar: Odisha secured the semifinal place by defeating Madhya Pradesh in the second league match of super eight of Nagesh Trophy National Cricket Tournament for the Blind 2024-25 at Cricbizz cricket ground at Chandrapura Bangalore on Tuesday.

In the second league match of group A in the super 8 stage Odisha gets a comfortable victory by 193 runs against Madhya Pradesh. Odisha won the toss and elected to  bat first, in stipulated 20 overs scored 262/6 with Sukhram Majhi 83, Anjan Singh 57, Dhanapati Gouda  55 and Debraj Behera 32 runs.

In reply Madhya Pradesh bowled out for 69 in 13 overs . For Odisha, Debraj Behera, Nakul Badanayak  and Anil Malik took 2 wickets each.

With this victory Odisha secured its place in the semifinal by getting two back to back win in group ( A). Tomorrow Odisha and Karnataka will meet in the last league match of super 8 stage to secure the first position in group-A .
