Bhubaneswar, February 1: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has praised the Union Budget 2025 as a ‘pro-people’ initiative, describing it as a significant step toward realizing the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed India).
CM Majhi shared in social media platform (X), saying, “The Centre has presented a pro-people Budget to achieve the goals of Viksit Bharat.”
The Union Budget, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament today, focuses on key sectors including education, health, agriculture, MSMEs, and research. Majhi expects the Budget will play a pivotal role in boosting employment generation across the country.
The Chief Minister also underscored that the 2025-26 Budget contains measures designed to improve the financial well-being of the weaker sections and the middle class.
Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their efforts, Majhi added, “This is a historic Budget that will stimulate economic growth and bring us closer to achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat.”
