Cuttack, Nov 20: During the Bali Yatra festival, a captivating drone show was held along the banks of the Mahanadi River, featuring 400 drones organized by a Delhi-based organization. The event took place on the fourth day of the festival, showcasing the cultural heritage of Odisha, including highlights from the Dhauli Shanti Stupa.
As part of the celebrations, traditional Kumbha dance performances were performed on stage, featuring 10 women from the Alisha Bazaar Yoga Shiksha Kendra. Their vibrant display mesmerized the audience. Various school performers also took the stage, showcasing their artistic talents.
Notable artworks, including images of Maa Swarnadevi, Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Lord Shiva, and Maa Durga, were displayed by the Maa Swarnadevi Kala Kendra. Additionally, historical artifacts from Dhabaleswar and other heritage exhibits were on show, attracting a large number of spectators.
The event included performances of the Nabadurga dance, local folk dances by the Saisrushti Dance Academy, Odissi and Gotipua dances by Sri Aurobindo Kala Niketan, and Sambalpuri dance by Maa Sarojini Kala Parishad. The Lal Azad Group also contributed a musical performance.
At the conclusion of the festival, all participating artists were honored by the administration for their contributions.
