Rajgangpur, January 17: At least 3 workers have gone missing after the coal hopper of the Dalmia (Bharat) Cement Ltd at Rajgangpur in the Sundargarh district collapsed on Thursday.
As many as 64 victims have been safely rescued so far who were stuck under the piles of debris, said sources.
Rescue operation is still underway to ascertain the whereabouts of the missing ones, said the Rajgangpur Tehsildar who is deployed as the Executive Magistrate, to take stock of the probable law & order situations.
Armed forces are deployed in and around the plant premises to deal with the trade union’s stir relating to the compensation and rehabilitation of the victims.
